The Remote File Expander ETL uses open source under the GPL license to process files.
In order to comply with the GPL restrictions, we must completely separate Truxton's proprietary code from GPL code.
This is accomplished by having a parent process spawn a program written with GPL code to accomplish a task.
The results of the task are communicated back to the parent process which puts the results into Truxton.
This communication channel between processes keeps the GPL code out of Truxton.
