Improvements

  1. Offensive image marking. From the visual media screen you can now right button on an image and marke it as offensive. That image will no longer be shown in that view unless you check the "Offensive" checkbox.
  2. More WiFi accesspoint information is pulled from the registry.
  3. Exported Investigations and Media now have .zip filename extensions. No more .tinv or .tmed files.
  4. Introductory training videos are now included.
  5. Loading of physical drives is now supported.
  6. Hashset loading can now be prevented by the command line.
  7. Transliteration of Arabic text.
  8. Lens serial number in EXIF is now recorded as an entity.
  9. Pulling serial number information for Fuji cameras.
  10. Rudimentary instant loading capability.

Bug Fixes

  1. Database configurations were not being deleted.
  2. Fixed bug where deleting a file being scanned by a virus scanner caused the EMail exploiter (PST expander) to blow up.
  3. The directory structure in L01 files wasn't being parsed correctly.
  4. Automatic software updates logic was fixed.
  5. Recording the number of email message bodies and attachments was failing.
  6. Bad zip files were causing Expand to fail.
  7. Unicode coming from SQLite databases wasn't being handled properly.
  8. Fixed LNK file parsing bug that caused the desktop to exit.
  9. Cellebrite 1.0 XML changes are now identified.
  10. Invalid UTF-8 sequences no longer cause ETLs to die.
  11. Carved file length adjustement. Carved files with a content status of "needs fixing" are now fixed.
  12. Fixed foreign language volume names.
