There are several types of depot files in Truxton. This information is also kept in the [DepotType] database table. The integer value is also stored in the type field of the depot file header.

Name Value Meaning
DEPOT_TYPE_UNKNOWN 0 The type is not known. You should never see this.
DEPOT_TYPE_FILE_CONTENTS 1 The depot contains the contents of logical files.
DEPOT_TYPE_FREE_SPACE 2 The depot contains unused space from media. This is typically aligned on a 512-byte boundary.
DEPOT_TYPE_THUMBNAILS 3 The depot contains thumbnail images.
DEPOT_TYPE_REPORT_TEMPLATES 4 The depot contains report templates. This is deprecated.
DEPOT_TYPE_OTHER 5 The depot contains some form of un-typed data.
DEPOT_TYPE_SLACK 6 The depot contains the slack space of logical files.
DEPOT_TYPE_NOT_DEPOT_FORMAT 7 The file is not a depot. Only seen in the database.
