New page

Before you begin writing C code you must generate a linker library for the C API.

=Generate Linker Library=
The steps for performing this are documented in the [[Truxton C API#Preparing for Use|preparing for use]] section of the [[Truxton C API|C API]] page.

=Modify Path Environment Variable=
In order for your programs to run, they must find the
TruxtonCAPI.dll
file.
The easiest way to do this is to add the SDK folder to your
Path
environment variable.
Press the Windows key, then type env and select "Edit the system environment variables."
Follow the GUI to add another folder (
C:\Program Files\Truxton\SDK
) to
Path
